Q. Who is A2B Leicester Taxis?

A. A2B Leicester Taxis are a family run airport transferís specialist. Our Customers have rated us as Five Star on all counts, which make us proud of ourselves in providing a service second to none, whether it is to the local hospital, airport or seaport. A2B Leicester Taxis understand individual customer needs and make sure the travel with us is totally stress free.

Q. Is your company licensed?

A: Yes, we are a fully licensed private hire company by Leicester City Council. So are all our vehicles and drivers.

Q. Do you only do Airport Taxis?

A. No. At A2B Leicester Taxis we provide Local, Long distance and Days out Taxi service. Our specialities are seaport and Airport transfers which include taxis to all Main airport and seaports in the UK such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, East Midlands, Luton, Southampton Cruise terminals and Dover, just to name a few. Our experience is in all types of taxi requirements plus even express courier service which all that use us never want to change.

Q. What areas do you cover?

A. A2B Leicester Taxis are based in Leicester and provide the services to all around Leicester and Leicestershire, but we do even have clients from Nottingham, Sheffield, Lincoln, Peterborough and London.

Q. Are your prices per car or per person?

A: We do NOT provide a shared service. Our vehicles are sole use and our prices are per vehicle

Q. Do I need to pay in advance?

A: Not always, but if you wish to pay in advance we have facilities in place for that as well. For All Journeys where the requirement is for both ways transfer; The passenger will be rquired to make FULL payment during the firstleg of the journey.

Q. Can I pay by Card?

A. Yes, Subject to terms and conditions we accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express, with a minimum credit card fare policy.

Q. Do I have to tip (gratuity) the driver?

A. No. Gratuities and tips are voluntary payments. If you are really happy with the driver’s service, you can tip. But it is not a must.

Q. How will I be collected from the airport?

A. Depending on your service level booked, we shall either meet you in the terminal building for your Meet and Greet or there will be a text message or a call from the driver or our control staff to advice you of the pickup point. This way we make sure you do not need to wait after you have cleared immigrations and customs at the landing airport.

Q. What if my flight is delayed, Will I be charged extra?

A. We monitor flight arrivals before any drivers are dispatched, as a result we DO NOT charge you any extra if your flight is delayed.

Q. Do I have a choice of vehicles?

A. Of course you do. We have a selection of vehicles ranging from Saloons, Estates, Minibuses (8 for up to passengers), you pay for the type of vehicle you have chosen

Q. Do you provide vehicles for more than 8 Passengers?

A. As we are an official private hire company authorised by Leicester City Council, we are not allowed to, but we will be able to provide you with names of legal companies who are licensed by VOSA under the law of UK.

Q. Can I smoke in your vehicle?

A. Sorry No. A2B Leicester Taxis have a strict NO SMOKING policy in all their vehicles

Q. How early do I need to book my car?

A. We can provide taxi service within 15 minutes, but the earlier you book the better, 24 hours would be recommended.

Q. Can I book over the phone?

A. Of course you can, you can book over the phone by calling us directly on 0116 340 5060; but a preferred method of booking is usually online or by email, this is for us to be able to provide you with a confirmation as well. Please choose your right option for us to serve you quicker and better: Press 1: Airport Transfers. Press 2: Long Distance Taxis. Press 3: Credit Card Bookings, Corporate Accounts and Business Travel. Press 4: Taxis within Leicester City. Press 5: All other enquiries.

Q. Can I have a receipt?

A. Your driver will be able to provide you with one, but for our business travellers who require a tax receipt, will have to request at the time of booking, our admin department will email you one*. *This service may incur an admin charge.

Q. How much luggage can I take?

A. The luggage space depends on the type of vehicle you book. If you have a large amount of baggage, you can select a larger vehicle during the booking process. Our online booking form will help to choose the right type of vehicle.
